Objectives and results of the workshop

This second face to face meeting had a double objective :

• to offer the opportunity to the companies who participated to the first face to face meeting in november to implement their cooperation plan by proposing to vietnamese companies technology trainings given by their european counterparts.
• to open the FOSS-Bridge  initiative to new comers coming from europe and vietnam and expand the network of participating companies.

As a results of this workshop,  the week long event gathered over 20 Vietnamese and visiting European software companies, who all share a keen interest in Open Source. Apart from offering a platform for face-to-face meetings and exchanging of cooperation ideas, which eventually turn into business agreements, the workshop also focused on providing technology training offered by eight European IT-companies to their Vietnamese counterparts. Around 60 deveopers coming from the FOSSBridge vietnamese companies participated to this technology trainings.
